Leading Computerless Email Service Announces Access to RSS Feeds Including Facebook, Twitter and News

Celery, LLC, announces service updates connecting clients to RSS and ATOM feeds from any source. Celery users will now be able to receive news feeds, Facebook updates and Twitter postings without a computer or Internet connection.

In addition to sending and receiving email, Celery users will now be able to receive news feeds, Facebook updates and Tweets without the need for a computer or Internet connection.

To add an RSS feed to their service, a Celery user can either contact Celery Customer Support, or their Celery Buddy who can add the feed via a secure section of the Celery website. The feeds can be delivered in real-time or batched for once-a-day delivery. The service will be available beginning May, 15th at no additional charge to users.

How Celery Works:

  • Receive: When a client signs up for Celery, he or she is provided with a custom email address (your-name@mycelery.com). Clients can use this email address to receive messages including image and document attachments from anyone, anywhere in the world. Received messages are automatically printed from the client's fax machine in photo quality color (subject to the machine's features).

  • Send: Clients can send handwritten or typed messages, news clippings, or any other printed document normally sent by fax, by email instead. Users simply write the email address or recipient's nickname from the Celery address book at the top of the first page and fax the message to a dedicated access number. The Celery system instantly converts and sends the message by email.
